I really like this sweater a lot. Nice quality. Am glad I read the reviews first because it definitely is on the large size. I can fit my flannel shirts underneath but would have preferred a v-neck for that purpose. Boxy and loose is how I would describe it. Plus soft and warm.

This is a nice, soft, warm sweater. It is larger than I expected but I kept it as I like wearing my husband’s sweaters and now I have my own large sweater. I am 5’6” and a medium build, 135lb. I bought a Medium but Small may have been better. The sweater has a “T” stitched on it on the left rib area. I would recommend that Tilley move their trademark to the side hem area. I don’t love the “T” but on the mottled black that I bought, it isn’t very noticeable. Otherwise a very nice, warm, merino wool sweater. Made in China.

Ordered the purple and have had several people comment on how great the sweater looks. Great quality and warm! It's close to true to size. It's roomy and I would consider this a loose/ relaxed fit.
I was worried that the sweater would be itchy, but it's soft, comfortable, and keeps it shape.
Highly recommend this sweater!

I’m 5’9” 135lbs with broad shoulders and typically take a small or medium. My medium is very roomy with long sleeves and looks great tucked in. The shoulders are very dropped, more than I expected from the photos, but it makes it surprisingly modern. A small would have worked too, so size down if you’re between sizes.
Material is a little heavier and scratcher than other merinos I’ve bought, but I’m hoping it will be more durable than other brands and won’t pill so much. Overall I’m very happy with this and looking forward to seeing more Tilley clothing.
One final detail: there’s a little T logo in matching thread on the left just below the rib cage that’s an odd choice, would prefer to not have it but it’s pretty hidden. At first I thought it was some loose thread 😅

Good Morning Tilley and potential customers. This sweater which was supposed to be Ladies Large came in a HUGE size! Even bigger than my Tilley Merino Men's large sweater! It just HUNG loose on my wife, no form factor at all, looked like a nicely coloured FEED BAG!
We sent it back, hopefully in 'Tilley' time we will get a properly sized medium replacement!
This would never happen on Alex Tilley's watch!!
