Machine wash delicate or hand wash cold. Use mild detergent. Do not use softeners or bleach. Remove windcord and foam from crown pocket before washing. Reshape and air dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Bought the T3 this summer and used it a lot when kayaking.
Unfortunately left it at our cottage so just got a navy blue T5 to take to Spain for our Camino walk. I like the fit and feel of the T5 even more!

Just got a khaki/olive T5. I’ve been wearing T3’s for many years, especially when kayaking. The T5 seems to have a higher crown and the material seems much lighter than the T3’s heavy cotton duck. So the T5 is lighter and should dry faster. I ordered one size larger than I normally wear so I barely notice that it’s on. I’ll need to use the wind cord a lot, given the wide brim, the light weight and the looser fit. The T5 style is part fedora, part bucket. Seems versatile and I may eventually get a hemp T5 in mocha brown.

I have had my T5 cotton duck Tilley for 16 years now. It has been all over Europe and Africa and has never let me down. Stylish and, as it says on the label, endurable After a decade and a half of regular and hard wear it still gets worn in the garden every day.
