This was my first real introduction to Tilley clothing, so I was very excited to receive my order. At first, I was a little unsure about the colour because I usually prefer black, but this deep olive green is beautiful, elegant, and surprisingly easy to pair with tops in many different colours.
The fit follows the shape of the body very nicely and widens slightly at the bottom, but it does not look overly wide at all. In fact, the shape is quite practical, especially with taller boots or shoes, which is particularly useful in Canadian weather. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable, and the overall workmanship is very well done.
I especially like the high waist. The pants stay securely and comfortably in place without slipping down. The zippered pockets are also beautifully finished and very practical.
The one thing I would recommend paying attention to is the sizing. According to the Size Chart, I would originally have chosen Size 12, but that turned out to be much too large, so I ordered Size 10 in this style, which fits much better.
Overall, this is an elegant, comfortable, and practical pair of pants that I truly enjoy wearing and would happily recommend.
