Machine wash delicate or hand wash cold. Use mild detergent. Do not use softeners or bleach. Remove windcord and foam from crown pocket before washing. Reshape and air dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

I have been a quadriplegic for 30 years now. I quite literally bought this Hat shortly after I got my settlement never thought I'd ever pay $75 for a hat, but believe it or not, that was back in 1999. I still own that Hat to this day. Their warranty is real. I noticed a few years into owning the Hat that there was a weird mark on the rim that almost looked like wear and tear. Don't know how it happened; I don't know anything about how it came to be. I used my warranty card. They instantly sent me a brand-new hat, and I got to keep the old one! But I'll be honest, I am pretty much a preacher to anyone who will listen about how good this Hat is. As a quadriplegic, I can get heat stroke very easily, and this Hat has saved me on many occasions. All I do is if I'm out in the sun. I actually live in Kamloops, BC, and we had some extreme heat a few years ago. We were one of the hottest places in Canada, with temperatures reaching almost 50 degrees Celsius. Still, during my travels around my town, I had this Hat on and got it completely drenched in a river. It probably cooled my body temperature by 5° or more; it was such a relief. The Hat never lost its shape; it actually turned rock hard, which impresses a lot of people. I will never stop shouting the Praises of Tilley Company; their product is absolutely amazing. If I could, I would buy one for everybody in the world.

Decided to buy myself a good hat after visits to Dermatologist and Hospital. got a dark navy T5 adventure hat in December and liked it so much i treated myself to another T5 in January coloured Khaki/Olive. Really well made hats.

Bought the T3 this summer and used it a lot when kayaking.
Unfortunately left it at our cottage so just got a navy blue T5 to take to Spain for our Camino walk. I like the fit and feel of the T5 even more!
